Hi, my wife's computer just got a virus called Poweliks? I can't get rid of it no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

Hi Gary. The poweliks virus is a new and particularly nasty virus. It doesn't actually put an infected file onto your computer. It is a registry hack and therefore much more difficult to get rid of. It takes many steps to completely remove the offending entries and restore the registry. Please give us a call and we will have you back in business the next day.
